If you haven’t already heard, or if you don’t live in New England, this weekend will supposedly be the first weekend for us without any rain since St. Patty’s Day. Crazy, right? That means it’s time to invite the crew over and bring out the ol’ Webster, because grilling season has officially commenced. For a cookout your friends won’t forget, Thermoworks is currently having a sale on meat thermometers that’ll ensure you cook your meat just right, so your guests leave full, but also hungry for more.

The absolute best way to guarantee perfectly cooked meat is with a dependable thermometer. If you don’t own one, you’re basically guessing when burgers are ready based on how long you cook them. If you’re grilling steaks, you may be using the touch method to try and feel if they’re done yet, risking them being overdone or even worse, too rare. But with a trusty probe thermometer, you can make medium-rare, juicy steaks and burgers without batting an eye.

Thermoworks happens to make our favorite meat thermometers, which are reliable and accurate while also affordable. Currently they’re having a 15% off sitewide sale from May 16 to May 23, so you can get any of their best thermometers at a great, reduced price.

Our top pick, the Thermopop, takes all the guesswork out of grilling, giving you super precise temperature readings in a matter of seconds. While it usually sells for $34, right now you can get it for just $28.90. And while we absolutely love the Thermopop, the ThermoWorks Thermapen Mk4 would actually have been our top favorite if it weren’t for its high price of $99. The Mk4 reads temperatures in just 2 seconds, beating the Thermopop’s time of 3 seconds, and it also comes with a bunch of fancy features like a 360-degree auto-rotating display, a motion-sensing sleep and wake mode, and a backlight for when you’re grilling at night. Best of all, with this sale the Mk4 is available for only $84.15.

The Dot is one of Themoworks' excellent probe thermometers.

Two other thermometers we love from Thermoworks are the ChefAlarm and the Dot, which are designed for things like smoking meat, oven-roasting, and deep-frying, but can still be used for grilling.

The ChefAlarm is capable of tracking temperatures over an extended period of time so you can step away from cooking for a bit, then come back to check what you missed. It also has adjustable high and low alarms, so you’ll be notified when your meat reaches your preferred temperature setting. It normally retails for $64, but with this 15% off sale you can get it for $54.40.

In a similar vein to the ChefAlarm, the $47 Dot, available for an amazing sale price of $36.55, also comes with a 4.5-inch probe. It can read up to 572°F and its 47-inch cable can withstand temperatures of up to 700°F, making it easy to keep an eye on what’s going on without lifting the grill lid. It’s pretty hardcore if you ask us.

Despite their varied functions, any of these amazing meat and grill thermometer options is bound to boost your grilling game this summer. If you want to treat Dad for Father’s Day (it’s June 16, FYI) or impress your friends with yummy steaks on Memorial Day weekend, now’s your chance to get the best tools for the job at great low prices. Keep in mind that you won't see the sale price until you add the thermometers to your cart, so start shopping!
